About Me
Born in the US, raised in London, England, I’ve enjoyed the benefits of living in two cultures. My background is in conceptual visual arts and psychology, which happily merged to create a passion for designing beautiful things with a practical and hopefully ground-breaking purpose.
My last role was at MindGym; where I joined in the first year of its digital transformation as part of a cross-functional, agile team. I was involved in the conception and initiation of the digital proposition, taking the product from the initial research stages through to launch (with major companies like Kelkoo and Jardines), iterating constantly based on testing and feedback.
Previously I owned the product design aspect of an art/tech start-up (Reelay) from end-to-end. In this role, I merged user-centred design with Reelay’s core business goals. I collaborated with stakeholders at every level and worked closely with the development team throughout. Through user/market outreach across Europe and the US, we were able to gather more than 100 industry participants whom we interviewed and surveyed for qualitative and quantitative analysis, used to inform our design decisions. I designed the product from its information architecture through to high-fidelity prototypes, learning and iterating based on feedback from usability tests.
I continue to be passionate about working in an industry that’s focused on innovation, at a company that values teamwork, passion and creativity, and that allows me to be hands-on, working end-to-end across the whole design process.
